Scott Mannion (Tokey Tones)

Bio

Singer-songwriter Scott Mannion is one half of former bedroom-orchestral-pop duo the Tokey Tones and co-founder of Auckland based indie record label Lil’Chief Records (home to artists such as the Brunettes, Princess Chelsea, the Ruby Suns and Sheep, Dog & Wolf). After leaving New Zealand in 2009 Scott eventually discovered a small medieval town in the mountains outside of Valencia, Spain, where he now lives and records music. Scott’s solo debut “Loving Echoes”is due to be released in March 2018 and consists of 10 songs that tell the story of the various stages of an ultimately ill-fated relationship, including the first single “Your Kinda Love." Recorded as a duet with Catalan singer Clara Viñals (of Renaldo & Clara) “Your Kinda Love”also features performances by James Milne (Lawrence Arabia), Jonathan Bree (The Brunettes) and Ryan McPhun (The Ruby Suns) along with performances by some of Scott's Spanish musician friends.
